The Sensor Hardware Course

The Sensor Hardware Course is designed for partners and end-users who must install and maintain these sensors.  The course covers both the 4000 Sensor and the Pod.  Topics include: features, capabilities, specifications, mounting instructions, rules for switches, resetting sensors, sensor range considerations and limitations, multiple floor placement rules, port requirements, and network considerations.

There are no prerequisites for the course, but a proper understanding of hardware installation concepts, wiring, and basic wireless configuration is recommended.  Those who will be installing sensors should also take the administrator course as critical concept within the software are also covered there.  This course will run on a tablet, cell phone, or desktop computer, but It is recommended that the student has a screen large enough that they are comfortable and able to read the material provided.   

At the end of the course students who pass the exams with the required average score will receive a certificate.
